They shipped very fast and arrived undamaged. The wood appears of good quality for the price; they are fairly light weight for the size. They have that bulky cabin feel we were looking for. They fit together well with the pre-drilled holes; actually required very little assembly, just takes some elbow grease to seat all the pegs. We used wood glue and a power finish nailer to ensure they stay together. Once together they are very sturdy. So far they have lived outside for 2 months, they are exposed to sun/elements daily. They still look new even though we haven't yet stained/clear coated them. So far we are very happy with them and would recommend.UPDATE!!!We have now had these for a couple of years. After about 6 months of outside abuse we decided to 'shelac' them in efforts to keep the light cedar look (many people let them grey naturally, but we prefer the lighter color since our house is stained cedar) We hand sanded the small areas of grey and mold and sealed them with 2 coats of Minwax Helms Spar Urethane. They sit outside all year (though we do cover in the winter) and they still look great, no loosening, no cracking and are solid. They look great and will last forever. With the lighter color, it will get dirty so put a thick clearcoat, like 5-10 layers, for easy cleaning later, and add another layer every 6-12 months.Alternatively, if you are OK with them getting dirty and rustic, they will still last and look great with no coating.6-feet does not mean six feet of sitting space. I can lay down on this but have to put my feet on one of the rests. We really like these a lot. I manage an outdoor center with over 1,000 guests a day and these guys have held up for a full year with no signs of wear. I just ordered another 3 more and we love them. I gave them a clear coat sealant and they are good to go. One criticism is that I liked the original packaging; the end pieces were already built and I got threaded nails. Now all the pieces are unassembled and we get screws.
