Does this device turn on and remember the volume setting after a power cycle?

I use the "1Mii" to connect music on my MacBook Air to a Dennon AVR (the 1Mii is connected to the AVR) and yes, it remembers the volume setting.

How does this compare to the very popular Logitech BT adapter?

It's far superior in every way, it costs the same. The 1Mii has Bluetooth 5.0 ;whereas the Logitech is measley Bluetooth 3.0 (worse quality sound, more audio latency, weaker connection). The 1Mii provides features such as APTX Low Latency, 3D Audio, & High-Fidelity wireless whereas the Logitech is standard-fidelity and provides no features... how these two products are the same price is a mystery. The 1Mii shames the Logitech adapter!
