After watching several youtube videos to get our courage up, we eventually traced our problem to this Power Drive Module. I was worried when I saw prices for a new/rebuilt fuel pump (north of $1,000) and when my son suggested we go this route, I was skeptical but hopeful. The added benefit is this kit allows one to mount the power module off engine in a location with less heat and vibration. Once we had the unit installed, the Suburban started up once we evacuated all the air and it has been running better than ever since. Given the price point of this kit vis-a-vis a rebuilt fuel pump, we have a backup kit on-hand if we expereince the same failure.
