You should check the blue strip to make sure you have a good seal **Q: leakproof?** A: No, not leakproof and I’ve purchased many of their products, not a one failed to not leak. Knowing this helps better understand what uses they are still good for. Non liquid foods for starters and in all fairness, the only photo of these products I’ve seen with liquids in them were the pitcher and their soup cups with flip vents and they seriously leaked but as long as they remained upright they served the purpose of microwaving soups and yet over time scored the plastic inside from hot liquids and this was a plastic designed for this use. What are they good for? Storage of craft items. Many people use these to store their embossing powders in.
