This phone case is amazing! I bought it back in Janaury 22, 2018 and am writing this on November 5, 2018. That’s how long it took to break this case. I dropped the case very hard many times because I Workout a lot. It took 11 months to see any real damage done and only to the back side as I take it on and off to store a credit card in the back side. I gave the sound quality a 4 star rating because it could be better not bad though. The string handle that comes with the case is also a stylish and helpful accessory just wish is came with more than one. Very reliable, sturdy, and affordable. Completely weather proof as advertised. Also make sure the bottom charging plug is sealed tight and it won’t get wet inside the charger port. Amazing price for the value provided will be buying 2 more for 2019 as I’ll be lifting and surfing don’t want to ruin my sexy iPhone 7. Got this case yesterday and have run it through all of its paces. The case is nice and sturdy. Easy to insert phone and seal the two halves together. A little more challenging to separate them, which is how it should be, since their integrity is crucial to providing a watertight seal. I tested the case by placing a tissue in it, sealing it and leaving it submerged for 1/2 hour. Finding the tissue paper dry at the end was impressive! While the screen saver is soft plastic, it fits tightly onto the screen and doesn't impede touch features in any way. In fact, I left my old screen protector on and the touch feature still works extremely well with this case installed. The sound on my end during a call is a little different from not having the case installed, but I wouldn't say it impedes the sound or makes it harder to hear. It just sounds slightly different, something I'm certain I'll have grown used to in a day or two. Sound on the other person's end is not affected in any way. The only thing I'd like to see is additional cushioning around the edges of the case, but that would only make it bigger. For the price of this case, I don't think you can go wrong!

Before buying this case I purchased a lifeproof case and this case and this one is far and away better and it’s a quarter of the price. This is the second Ounne case that I have purchased for my iPhone. They are awesome. I bought my first one a year ago for a trip to Hawaii. I took my phone with me snorkeling and took some amazing underwater pictures of the wildlife on the reef. I would give it five stars if it weren’t for two small issues: one is the speaker phone basically won’t work with the case on (but it doesn’t work with the lifeproof case either) and the cover over the plug for charging has a little tab to open it and it broke after a year and I could no longer open the port without using something to help. The quality of this case sis still great. I am pretty rough on phones and this case has kept my phone safe through lots of rough treatment. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants a waterproof and shock proof case.

I had a similar case (maybe same brand as this) for my iphone 7 for 3 years and it looked like new so 4 years ago I got the iphone Xs max and got this case. While the screen is easily scratched, my phone still looks brand new, I’ve dropped it countless times and no damage to my phone or the case in last 4 years. Although I do buy this case once a year cause the scratches get bad over time, the case itself is very durable. I used to get a build up of i guess grease in the buttons and charger but this case fixed that. When my phone falls Im no longer afraid the screen or back glass will brake. Some problems I do have is that the lid for the charger always breaks after 6 or more so months. And around 8 months after buying the case, the glass(or plastic) that covers the camera gets scratched to the point the pictures loose quality and I usually take it off and I get 4 months more of usage from the case. The case does look a little ugly and make the phone bigger but hey, my phone has no issues and looks new after 5 years.

UPDATE*** I’ve now had this phone case for about 4 months! It has been Awesome! It’s protected my phone from a handful of drops! It’s kept it’s waterproof seal! When I take my phone out for occasional cleaning, it’s flawless! ....The only thing Im bummed about are the scratches over the camera area of the case. My photos aren’t as clear anymore with the case on. Overall Great Case! So far so good! It fits perfectly! I did the water test as recommended, there was no water leakage. I have not taken my phone into the water yet but it has had lots of salt water exposure. No water got in! I can hear my phone calls perfectly and they seem to hear me well also. My photos aren’t as clear, but still pretty good! I will update this review after I’ve had more time with the case. 👍🏽

The good: nice tight fit. Easy to open charging port. Touch ID works when dry. Feels well made. Will protect from drops. The bad: rates for 6'. Don't go past this mark and don't be in turbulent water. I had two phones and both had water seeping in. Either from diving down too deep while snorkeling, or from crashing waves on the short. Salt water and lightening ports are not friends. Couldn't charge my phone for 2 days until I was able to get to some rubbing alcohol to dissolve the corrosion. Phew. Also the case is really hard to remove. Not recommended to have it on unless you need it because it's bulky compared to a normal case. Not convenient when I wanted to drone. But a tight fit is good for water. Better than other cases, I'm sure. Best for casual poolside, on the boat, novice surface snorkeling. Not good for deep diving snorkeling or breaking waves.

This is my second Ounne water proof case for my iphone 7. I used to have a life proof brand to protect my iPhone but I found people complaining that I sounded like I was underwater to them on the other end. I bought this brand of case as a direct result of these complaints and found the Ounne case didn’t have this issue and people hear me fine with my phone in this case. I like the wheel switch for the silent button and the look and feel of the product. I have put this case through a lot of abuse even just tossing my phone casually to show others how good this case handles shock from falls. The only problem I had with my first Ounne is the plastic that covers the home button got a smaller than a pin size hole in it and lost its water proofing, but this seems like normal wear as it took over a year to wear out. I would easily recommend this case for its protection, durability, sound transfer quality, look and feel!

The case looks good and snaps tightly together, I have a screen protector on my phone and there is one built into this case as well, I was concerned about the touch responsiveness through both screen protectors and as far as I can tell it’s excellent!!! Yes I would and do recommend this case! I have not yet tested how water roof it really is but I did have it in the shower and it’s splash proof. It has not yet been fully submerged, but as long as the lightening port plug is closed it looks like it will stay very safe and dry. You might ask isn’t the I phone X Max already water proof, actually no it’s not it’s water resistant meaning it’s mostly splash proof, and can take being quickly dunked into water, but can not sustain long term exposure to water at any depth. If you plan to go swimming or scuba diving buy an additional case for those specific purposes. This case is great for daily use and abuse.

It’s ok so far seems pretty durable only problem is I’ve already got a dent in my screen and I’ve only had it a month
