This set of aluminium architect’s and engineer’s scales and steel ruler is finely and clearly graduated. Length compares as it should with other rulers available to me. The set is well presented and boxed with scales in rigid plastic sleeves and a soft sleeve for the ruler.

Very clear and easy to read, they are made of aluminum and do not chip or nick like plastic ones can. The price made this set a great deal and the quality is very good. Highly recommend.

Bought this for my son's drafting class. He's happy with the set.

Quality materials, feels nice and heavy, the ruler was an added bonus as I really only needed the scales. Being metal, the corners can be sharp which may cause tears in plans if not careful when using. The numbers are clear and legible with the contrasting white on black color. Very good value for the price.

I am an architect and a bit old school to boot. I am also very particular, or shall we say OCD so needless to say I bought 3 different scale sets from amazon. more on that later but first to my point. Buy this scale!!! Its easy to read, straight, durable, etched and accurate. I compared it to my 30 plus year old scale and it measured up perfectly. I find that the white on black makes it really easy to read. A few weeks earlier I bought another aluminum scale that was kind of a gun metal finish with a color stripe on each side. I really love the look of that scale as well and it too sems very accurate. The only problem with it is that the metal catches the light and reflects back making it difficult to read.
