It would also probably be big enough for an overnight stay away, particularly if you have a small rucksac too. I think that the velcro on the straps could extend a bit further to give better strength but I intend to add a bit to it myself. I rode along quite a bumpy cycle track last week with it on the bike for the first time, and it stayed put very well, but I would like a little more confidence in the straps! I like its versatility, mentioned by others, as you could carry it by the top handles, or by the included shoulder strap.
