The Sprouter reuses the same water over and over during the day which gets quite dirty and it's a place were bad bacteria will grow and cause medical problems. You can even tell there will be problems when you smell the water at days end. It's a very bad design when you use the same water to hydrate the sprouts all day. IF you purchase this sprouter you will eventually learn it was a bad purchase. This sprouter should be taken off the market. The manufacturer should make a sprouter that uses fresh water all the time not recycled water. You don't have to keep watering sprouts so many times every hour. Most individuals only water sprouts twice a day in the morning and at night. So why does this sprouter water so many times every hour? Save your funds don't purchase this badly designed sprouter. I apologize about this negative post but I speak from experience. I returned the sprouter that I purchased.
