I attempted to make this thing work on multiple computers (including a Macbook, a PC, and a Chromebook), using 3 different types of camera software including the software included with the purchase. Nothing could get the picture to be anything but horribly dark to the point that you could hardly see any picture at all unless it was pointed directly at a light source, and even then the color were all washed out. I tried adjusting brightness, contrast, white balance, hue, saturation, and only was able to achieve very marginal improvement.
