I just now finished replacing the battery to my I phone 5S, so I can't speak to the battery's longevity, but it arrived charged at 50% of capacity and seems to be doing fine. The tools furnished with the battery are sufficient. I watched three U-tube videos before the operation. Be warned that the screws are VERY small and when dropped from tweezers or whatever, bounce like a tiny rubber ball. I had trouble getting half of the old battery adhesive out and ended up prying and somewhat bending the old battery before finally getting it out. After assembling everything, the phone itself would work but the screen would not respond to touch and small grid lines began to appear in the background. After checking on the internet, I concluded it was a poor screen connection problem. The second time I disassembled and assembled the phone, I vacuumed the screen connectors, male and female, and that did the trick. So I conclude that this is a very good product that is difficult to install. Any manufacturer's battery would be difficult to install. My experience took me around 3 hours, and included some anxious moments.UPDATE: I installed the battery almost four months ago. It has worked perfectly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Plug the connector in first. iPhone 5c. *by L***G on May 23, 2019* Worked great in an iPhone 5c. One screw is longer than the rest and you will have to keep track of it and it's location. Getting the old battery out is tricky due to the adhesive. I should have plugged the connector for the new battery in first before adhering the new battery in place. I did it the other way around and only barely got it to work due to my error. ### ⭐⭐ Does not fit *by D***D on January 1, 2019* I ordered the 5C battery replacement. After viewing several tutorials I removed the battery and screen with no problems. However, when I put in the replacement battery I found that it was about 0.5-1mm too wide. This doesn't seem like much of a difference from the original, but it was enough to prevent the connector from being re-attached without bending the replacement battery connector. It was such a tight fit that I did not need to use the adhesive strips that came with the kit. I returned the battery for a replacement, but this second battery also did not fit like the original iphone battery. This is a basic quality control issue that needs to be addressed. I would go with another manufacturer until this problem is addressed. I am giving the product 2 stars instead of 1 since the battery has been charging and discharging properly for the past 2 weeks. Hopefully the tight fit will not result in overheating or battery failure.
