It may feel cheap and flimsy, because of the plastic, but that’s because the ease of snapping in the Echo Dot, and just like in the description it’s made not to cover up any of the speakers . I got this one for the bedroom, and it was all right on the nightstand, but you still have the cord in the space it takes up. So. As you can see were my eyes matted, it worked perfect, because it’s up high and I can still use it as an alarm clock . It was an outlet I put in when I had my little TV .
