I can not find anything online or in the instructions** A: It's different modes. Gives different acoustic sound. It's not necessary unless you're using a hi tech powered system that will still push give you the desired output. Other than that I just keep it on 0 so I get the real sound from the amplified system. **Q: Mic volumn is so low on all 4 even I turn it to max.** A: Not from my experience i. **Q: It says range is 200 feet direct line of site. Does that mean the person using the mic must be in the same room as the receiver at all times?** A: Environment & antenna location always dictate this issue with my set up. I relocated the antenna using 3' jumpers to the front of my rack and improved the range to about 100' feet but if trying to go thru walls or dense crowds I had drop out on 1 or 2 of the mics.
