Drops of water help to bring it out with the amiral gloss. Ice water is better. I would go watch the elegant oxford YouTube channel **Q: I can't find this on their website. How does this compare to the Mirror Gloss?** A: Mirror Gloss is a much harder wax. This is their second tier wax (blue line) vice their (MDO line.) They have the same base formula so it is a very good alternative and cheaper. Blue line products are just as well as the MDO line, just not as much of the higher end ingredients. **Q: Can I build up layers of Saphir Amiral for protection and then use Saphir Mirror Gloss over the Amiral?** A: Not an expert, but I get a good gloss just from the Amiral. Don’t know how much more the Mirror Gloss would add. **Q: Is this similar to the medaille d'or mirror gloss but just the lower quality/cheaper version?** A: Quality is very much the same. You get a great shine with both. Formulation might be different because mirror gloss feels drier out of the can.
