The reviews were accurate and we are satisfied except for the large, hard feather fully in tact feather shaft that was in the pillow. Needless to say we had to cut the fabric where we felt this feather and removed it. An entire hard feather. Bummed that we had to wreck the pillow but it was easily seen back together once the hard portion of the whole feather was removed. When your head first hits the pillow they are soft and your head gently sinks in. Then they become almost hard and are difficult for me to get comfortable on. As a snuggle pillow they are OK, but again just hard to get comfortable with. After about a month I have gone back to my feather pillows. The feather pillows are not as fluffy, not as soft, but not as hard either.
