Our Pro-Series screens use a heavy duty, extremely durable mesh material specifically designed to take the full impact of a real golf ball. There are pockets sewn into the top and bottom large enough for up to a 3/4" round pipe (electrical conduit) to fit into. The sides are hemmed and have heavy duty, non-tear grommets reinforced with nylon webbing. We have also added the nylon webbing as pictured to the pockets to increase the durability. No problem. It has a soft spot in the middle but no rips or damage. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars A bit tricky to install properly for indoor golf sim, but does the job nicely *by M***7 on Reviewed in the United States on September 18, 2022* I found that even with putting pool noodles on the bars, a direct hit with a golf ball can come back at you pretty hard. My solution on the top bar is to have a barrier (yoga mat) hanging a little lower on the net above the screen that protects the ceiling. And instead of a lower "bar" I purchased a 10' threaded rod at HD and fed that through a garden hose. Works like a charm.. The bottom is heavy enough and balls that hit the hose just fall to the ground. The other part of installation that is tricky is that the sides of the screen at both the top and bottom bars slide in toward the center over time. I had to jury-rig a way to grab them with tarp clips.Other notes:The screen does need to be ironed when you first unpack it. The creases with not go away with time (I figured that out the hard way.I don't see any wear on the screen after the first thousand shots or so, but then I don't hit the ball that hard and I hit mostly irons ..maybe 210 yards or so max. The dents from shots that are created just brush off or go away over time. I don't tie down the eyelets on the side tightly as the manufacture recommends, and I'll bet that makes a big difference where wear is concerned. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Not Great for Real Golf Balls *by C***G on Reviewed in the United States on May 3, 2021* I've been using this for about 5 months with real golf balls. The screen is showing some significant ware and I'm worried I will be putting a ball through the screen soon. I ended up putting a net behind the screen just in case it bursts through. I've been using new golf balls regularly and only hitting irons/wedges to help protect the screen. Some other people use Archery Nets along with a sheet, I may try this once I finally rip through this screen.
