In addition to a variety of cable and wire stripping tools, the WEICON TOOLS product range also includes different multi-functional tools. The WEICON Cable Stripper No. S 4 - 28 Multi enables precise, fast and safe stripping. It has a working range of 4 - 28 mm Ø and an infinitely adjustable and easy-to-use set bolt. In addition, the Cable Stripper is fully ergonomic and completely insulated. Working range from 4 - 28 mm Ø Stripping function integrated in the housing (stripping of all common flexible and solid conductors with a cross-section between 0.5 and 6 mm²) Ergonomic handle shape Opening the retaining clip Cutting into the sheath Cutting open the sheath Suitable for many types of round cable The WEICON Cable Strippers The WEICON Cable Strippers are produced entirely in Germany. Review: Very useful, compact tool for stripping almost all cables. - I like this cable stripper very much. I use it on common flex cables, CY cables, YY cables and SY cables. It works very well with going through the insulation. I would recommend doing a test run on a scrap piece or on the end of the cable you are stripping before committing, just to make sure that you have the stripper set correctly not to go through the inner wires insulation, but it's a very useful tool. I find the wire stripper end useful as you don't need to swap and change tools as often as it works just as well as normal wire strippers. I have never tried using it on the outer sheath of armoured cables, but I wouldn't recommend it as I think the blade would break on the armourings if you set it too deep. But overall, I think it's an excellent piece of kit if used properly.

I like this cable stripper very much. I use it on common flex cables, CY cables, YY cables and SY cables. It works very well with going through the insulation. I would recommend doing a test run on a scrap piece or on the end of the cable you are stripping before committing, just to make sure that you have the stripper set correctly not to go through the inner wires insulation, but it's a very useful tool. I find the wire stripper end useful as you don't need to swap and change tools as often as it works just as well as normal wire strippers.
