I was wrong. This product is only good for mirroring the same image on two external monitors. It will extend your laptop display plus one external monitor though. I didn't like that it didn't come with a power plug. Instead you have to use up a usb port to power it. This is good and bad. Good that I don't have to have a bulky plug to figure out how to get power to, but bad that it takes up a usb port. I would rather use that usb port to get something that actually extends my desktop. Anyway, the items looks solidly build and I've decided to keep it for that reason. If I needed to buy this product again for its intended purposes - I would. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great HDMI PORT ! *by T***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 28, 2018* We bought a HD TV on sale, only to get home and find out that it only had 2 HDMI ports. I have 3 devices that require HDMI. This HDMI Switch was just the ticket. I had a spare HDMI cable that I used to connect the splitter to the TV, then plugged in two of the three HDMI devices on the input side. My third comes from the cable company, so I left it attached to the HDMI 1 port. With the click of a push button, I can switch between DVD player and a Fire Stick. Pretty cool. Works very nice. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works but.. *by K***O on Reviewed in the United States on March 21, 2019* It limits the resolutions that it outputs, I tried it on a projector with native resolution of 1280 x 800, but with this attached that resolution was not available on the computer, only 720 or 1080. Must have something to do with the amplifier.
