Generally no driver installation required for Win11/10/8/7, if necessary, the latest driver and Freestyle Copilot Health Management System could be downloaded directly and freely from the Internet. According to the experience from our customers, having the right software version is the key to success with this cable, the PC or laptop OS version, driver version，and data management software. 3. CoPilot Software is hard to find but _is still available_ - Following the instructions for installation of software and drivers is clearly important, but the instructions are well written - agree with the manufacturer here it is important to know your system - 32 bit or 64 bit OS, USB 2.0 or USB 3.0? A bit of homework perhaps, but even with searching I had the cable fully functional in about 20 minutes. Biggest complain here seems to be not being able to find the CoPilot software - I tried leaving a link to the download in my last review but that is not allowed, so all I can say is that both the US (mg/dl) and International (mmol/L) versions _ARE STILL AVAILABLE_ for download, however can no longer be downloaded from the Freestyle website - again, some google searching required. Any way, thank you Washinglee for saving me about $20 on buying the cable directly from Abbott! Quality product!
Review: NOT COMPATABLE WITH LIBREVIEW - This product IS NOT compatable with Freestyle LibreView. Freestyle Co-Pilot is discontinued. DO NOT purchace this product to use with your freestyle lite, freedom, freedom lite glucose meters, it will not work. The link I was given to upload a different driver did nothing. My meter cannot be read. Spend the extra money and get the Freestyle cable. It's not a better value if it doesn't work.

Following the instructions for installation of software and drivers is clearly important, but the instructions are well written - agree with the manufacturer here it is important to know your system - 32 bit or 64 bit OS, USB 2.0 or USB 3.0? A bit of homework perhaps, but even with searching I had the cable fully functional in about 20 minutes. Biggest complain here seems to be not being able to find the CoPilot software - I tried leaving a link to the download in my last review but that is not allowed, so all I can say is that both the US (mg/dl) and International (mmol/L) versions _ARE STILL AVAILABLE_ for download, however can no longer be downloaded from the Freestyle website - again, some google searching required. Any way, thank you Washinglee for saving me about $20 on buying the cable directly from Abbott! Quality product!

This product IS NOT compatable with Freestyle LibreView. Freestyle Co-Pilot is discontinued. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cable was of high quality, but using it requries considerable experience with computers

The quality of this cable and the service was excellent. I had no issues with the cable or the delivery. Getting software to work with this cable was complicated. I wanted to use this to connect my PC with my Abbott Freestyle Freedom Lite meter. Being that this is a third party cable that does not have the chip that the Abbot OEM cable has means that the consumer has to find, download, and install the proper third party driver. This was a lot more complicated than I imagined. This may be one of those things that a 10 year old kid could handle easily, but neither my wife (IT Professional) nor I (reasonably smart guy) could manage to get to work. I decided to return it and just purchase the Abbott OEM cable. It was only $25 more and I expect that it will be a lot easier to use. So, if you are really good at understanding how to install third party software and separate drivers, this cable would be an excellent way to save $25. The cable was of good quality and for the price, a good value if you are willing to put in a lot of work getting the associated software to work.
