I have horrible insomnia (sleep at 6am, wake at 9am) and only 3 Tylenol PM can knock me out but I don't like taking drugs so I have suffered 2-3 hours of sleep for a long time. Last night I was out by 10:40. Keep in mind that I worked at home until 10 so I probably should have taken it at 10 and not 9:30. Either way, I was out. I had very vivid dreams (I saw someone else ask about that). I used to have vivid dreams when I was young but I also used to sleep when I was young. I am not concerned about the vivid dreams. I woke up at 4am. Although some may say I should give it a lesser review for waking up at 4am, I am holding to 5 stars. I feel like a million bucks! I am energized and happy. I am usually groggy and spend the whole night rolling. Also, I am a tummy sleeper trying to break the habit. I tend to toss and turn all night. My poor husband. Last night I fell asleep on my back and I woke up on my back. After one night I can say this stuff works. It's not drug grade but I took Ambien a couple years ago and I'll never go back. I had horrible side effects including hallucinations. It made me high half the time and I still couldn't sleep. I stopped taking it b/c Ambien is absolutely addictive and is more of a high than anything else. I have also heard of people sleep walking with it. The last time I took it there was an earthquake and I seriously freaked out b/c I was too high to get between a door frame and such like you are supposed to do. I woke up the next morning thinking I had dreamt the entire thing but decor were knocked off the walls so I knew it was not a dream. Never again! I am so happy with this supplement that I am posting about it at 4:43am. Without Lunesta, I could not fall, or stay asleep.The slighest noise would wake me, and I am up for the rest of the night. I would be in trouble if I had to do without Lunesta. Well that day came when I switched insurances and when I walked up to the counter and the pharmists should, that would be $193.00. OMG, is this real???? No way did I want to pay that amount for pills that cost me $25.00 a month. My husband gave me something he picked up for the store a while ago. They had no effect on my and I felt doomed. Let's say maybe I go back and get the $193.00 pills so I can sleep,but my analytical brain, said wait, let's do the math, that would equate to over 2K a year. No way! Came to my best pal Amazon & found these.THEY WORK!! I actually came in to by more. I know all of us are different in body chemistry, so this working for me, doesn't mean it will work for you. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because sometimes, I taste the capsule going down and it's not pleasant.
