Review: Great fruitcake - Couldn't find this fruitcake for the holidays, although it was in stores Thanksgiving. May have been at other stores than my area, but I searched online and found these, directly from the Vendor on desertcart. Little bit more than what store had month prior, but could get the dark and regular, and better price than other vendors. I got a pair for a gift and 1 pair for me. Delivery time was ok and could be tracked. These Claxton's are a good flavor. I have gotten so I like the dark even better now.

Couldn't find this fruitcake for the holidays, although it was in stores Thanksgiving. Claxton are very good, especially for the price!!! They are loaded with fruits and nuts!!! AND they're very moist, not dried-up like some cakes or food that comes in the mail. The only thing that I'd like to have though, is there's no pineapple in the cake or on top ; I always like it when there's pineapple, red cherries, green cherries, and walnuts on top!!! This type of cake doesn't have any kind of "presentation top".
