My nephew loves these movies, and even more the creepy, Gremli's that NECA has produced. I was hesitent to buy two of these (one for me and one for my nephew), but am glad I did. Right now the price is right (wait to long and you will easily be looking at spending twice as much in the secondary market), and the detail is on the mark. -Size: Easily one the othe Larger NECA creations, and no detail is lost -Build Quality: This isn't something that will fall over, lose balance, or break after an "adult" collector poses it, or a young child (8-10 yrs old) plays with it re-enacitng sceens from the movie. Or just usign as a monster for his/her G.I. Joes. -I would sugest the following if this is a gift for a kid. A) Have an adult put it together, the leg are ticky even for an adult to pop in place B) Make sure the child won't be frietend by the figure (it is wonderfully creepy after all) C) Don't! feed them aftrer midnight !!!! Regardless, the product is amazingly. Its detail and color make it one of NECA’s best.
