Great plug-and-play bass knob
I bought this to add on to my alpine subwoofer and amp after the old remote I had from a separate install wasn't working. It immediately worked after plugging in and allows me to control the full range of the sub from the driver's seat. My previous remote would only turn it up to full volume and back it down 50% when all the way down, so it was a big improvement to be able to fully mute the sub at any given time with this one. It's somewhat expensive, but if bass control is important to you (as it should be), it's worth spending the money on Alpine quality.

Great buy
Debated buying this for years and I regret not doing it sooner! Pairs well with the very picky alpine amps and has great feel when turning the dial
