When they arrived, I was surprised by how heavy they are. They ones we got are gray and vary in shape, no two were the same. They are solid and sturdy and feel like real rocks. The hardware included is strong. We anchored them to 3/4" plywood mounted on the end of the bed. My husband, older son, and I all climbed them once it was together and there was no feeling of movement or give.The only thing that keeps it from being 5 star is there was nothing included in the way of instruction or even what size drill bit to use.
