Some boxes of tissues are too tall. This box is very sturdy. When the tissue box does not fit, I take out a stack of tissues and place them in the holder. It works very well. **Q: What are the dimensions?** A: As others have responded, use a smaller count tissue box, or take the tissues out of a larger box and put in the leather box. The color is a nice bright white that matches the white porcelain toilet and sinks. It is well made with a nice finish and a taped hinge bottom that closes tight with magnets. The box holds 160 tissues. The standard Kleenex 160 size box will fit inside if you cut the bottom off of the tissue box. I had to cut about 1/2" off of the bottom of the cardboard tissue box to get it to fit. When refilling the box, I simply cut open the next tissue box and transfer the tissues into the box that I previously sized to fit inside the box. Only problem is to hold a 140 to 160 box of tissues you have to cut off 1/2 inch on the bottom of the cardboard box if you want the plastic sheet guide to hold the tissues upright. Otherwise, you have to remove the tissues from the cardboard box. I wish it had a slight textured matte finish pleather, instead of shiny crocodile finish as dust collects in the slight grooves.
