It depends on your light bulbs. I have 9 6.5w led bulbs Gu12 base bulbs and on my app the dimming starts at 42 percent. At 42 percent, it’s almost off. So you can play around to see what’s your range once your on the app and then you can tell that number to Alexa or other device and it works great. **Q: Is it going to work with logitech harmony?** A: The firmware on these seems to be pretty universsl, unless Ligitech is picky. Smart Things App finds most gizmos. **Q: When you set times and dates for on and off does it also keep the dimmer setting u like?** A: I personally don’t use the timer on this device, but out of curiosity I tested and the result was: Yes, it keeps the dimmer setting previously used. **Q: Can I have the light auto turn off after say 30 minutes every time it is used?** A: Hi friend, these light switch has timer function, for example, you set it to run on 7:00 pm and turn off at 11:00 pm on working day, this will work. You must have a ground wire AND neutral wire for installation. There is outlined in the instructions that came with the Light Switch. If you don’t have the existing neutral in the switch box you will need to pull shielded romex wire to electrical box. This typically means you will need to open holes in your wall to pull the new wire.Also, the switch that you install this on must be a stand alone switch. You can not replace two way switch (two separate switches that work on the same light). My porch Light switch was perfect for this and I already have homesmart app install on my phone, I just add the device to it, I now have the ability to turn on/off porch lights via the switch itself or thru my phone, also have schedule on/off, automatically turn on/off, This is exactly what I needed.
