Review: This is a very nice bracket for patch panels only. - This would have been a great bracket just for the punchdown block. That was originally what I ordered it for, and it would have met my needs perfectly. I decided before I received it that I wanted to mount my switch inside a box as well, so I returned this bracket. The bracket was not deep enough to accommodate my switch. I had to purchase a much more expensive box which would hold the switch. This bracket would have been great for just the patch panel and a power strip. It is very heavy, well-made, and has a hinged side to access the patch panel. I almost kept it just as a backup for future needs!

This would have been a great bracket just for the punchdown block. That was originally what I ordered it for, and it would have met my needs perfectly. I decided before I received it that I wanted to mount my switch inside a box as well, so I returned this bracket. The bracket was not deep enough to accommodate my switch. I had to purchase a much more expensive box which would hold the switch. This bracket would have been great for just the patch panel and a power strip. It is very heavy, well-made, and has a hinged side to access the patch panel. I almost kept it just as a backup for future needs!

Just received my 1U wall mount today. I was a little concerned because some other reviews said the mounting holes were 17 inches apart. This issue must have been corrected as the one I received had 16 inch on center mounting holes. Mounting hardware was also included. Solid overall product. Would purchase again.
