Did it with coffee and learned to make sure you line up the threads correctly, but once I fixed it, no leaks! No warping with the plastic pieces through top rack dishwasher and the "no scald ring" works as advertised. Theres no air hole at the top so when you drink the entire cup collapses in on itself. The bottom isn't as sturdy as it looks and wobbles when you set a full hot cup on a table. Ive collapsed it a couple times and it looks like the plastic is going to split in the middle. However, it is not leak proof as described (unless the seal on the one I have is somehow damaged.) When turned upside down, some beads of the contained water would appear around the seam of the tightly screwed on lid.
