After connecting the HDMI and Power cables to TV and wall outlet, the box will ask to set screen size, wireless network and then your ready to go from the home menu. You would like to sign in with your Google Account to be able to download apps and games.The HK1 is very small compared with other Android TV Boxes in the market. It’s size is about one and a halfway credit cards wide and the height is very thin. It can easily, and I mean really easily, fit in any pocket and still have room left I the pocket for a thin wallet and it’s slightly wider than a mouse. The HK1 has 2 USB ports, 1 micro SD port, 1 HDMI Out, 1 AV Out, 1 Ethernet Port and Power Adaptor in. 2 USB’s is all you need to connect a receiver for an optional but very useful wireless keyboard with trackpad, a pen drive to connect music and view photos stored in it, and the SD slot can house a +128GB storage for Amazon Prime video downloads for offline viewing and for apps and games. The HK1 even mirrors on screen any Android or iPhone wirelessly.You can download apps and games from the Google Play Store. The Android OS Version is 7.1 so any app and game compatible with this version will work. The Box has plenty power to run the apps and games easily. I downloaded my WiFi Security Cameras App and I can watch wats going on around my house outdoors. The Box has Web Browser for you too navigate the internet. I also downloaded the app for my wireless printer and I can print images from my Android Box to paper in seconded and wirelessly.The HK1 has never stopped or paused while watching any streaming app while on WiFi. You can connect the Box to your Modem through the Ethernet port but it’s not necessary. You can watch streaming services up to 4K if available on your streaming services.The controller gets some getting used to but once you understand the remote and mouse switching mode on the controller, you will navigate and use the box faster. I definitely recommend a mini keyboard trackpad controller for easy input and navigation and to play games.Bottom LineThe HK1 is an awesome small box with Big capabilities and will make any Regular Tv a Smart TV and even smarter for those TVs that don’t support some streaming services. The Box is lag free wirelessly(I tested mine with a 100mbps modem even with Xbox One, wireless security cam, and smart home consuming data).
