I misunderstood the width of the walker compared to the measuring of my current one. I measured the width of the handles not the wheels on the outside of the base. 2 ft for both but the handles are about 3 inches narrower.I think it has a little too much flex in the rear legs at certain times of use. I do like the double rivets in the braces on the legs. I am fairly tall so it extends the legs fairly far. I think that is the issue with the flex when on uneven ground such as stepping into the house.I would recommend this product. I use it to be able to break it down to travel, as a spare walker to travel, and use to go into the house from the car as well as inside the house. I can leave my other walker in the car in the garage so I do not have to wrestle with pulling one out or putting it into the car. I used the walker for help as I had to ascend two steps to get onto my back patio. It was easy to lift onto the highest step, and then use it for stability while going up the steps. The large wheels easily roll over uneven terrain. I no longer need the walker, as the healing process has progressed.
