My only complaint is the ink runs out within about a month of daily heavy use. **Q: Love these pens! Anyone know if they are disposable or refillable?**
A: Not only are they refillable, Amazon sells the refills (in packs of 2, by color)! Make sure to get refills that match your pen type; RT for retractable models, or non-RT for, well, non-retractable ones.

**Q: Where are they made? i saw a pack of uni-ball jetstream rt blx, and it was made in japan. are these also?  tia :)**
A: Yes, it is made in JAPAN!  :-) There is a photo of the back of the packaging where you can see that it reads, "Made in Japan." 
(Personally, I love that I am not sending any money to China. Yay! Of course, "Made in the USA" would be better, but "Made in Japan" is okay with me.)

**Q: I'm left handed & need non-smudge pens to annotate my medical coding books. Will these smudge as I write left-handed or bleed through thin pages?**
A: I am also left-handed and always have to shop carefully for pens.  I have found the Jetstream pens to smudge a little bit IF you rub over it immediately after making a mark.  If you are writing at an average speed you will not likely have a problem.  I have not noticed them to bleed through thin paper.  As a left-hander another pen to consider that I really like is the Uni-Ball Signo Micro 207 - fantastic pen!

**Q: I have jet stream 101 that i love. the rt have the same smoothness?**
A: Yes it writes very smooth. The ink dries quickly.

This pens are awesome, they write very nice, the ink is smooth doesn't run or bleed through the paper. Comfortable grip. I love the fine point I always buy in a box.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Smooth

After reading the Wire Cutter review, I decided to buy a package of these and test them. The writing is indeed smooth, however the light weight(11 grams)and platicky feel of the pen detracts from the experience. I also bought a pushbutton Jetstream Prime pen weighing prhaps 20 to 25 grams for under $10. It came with a 0.7 refill though, which geels scratchy compared to the 1.0 thatcame with the RT. As for the price, at $1.75 a pen for the RT, the almost as good BIC Glide(Velocity) seems like a much better value at less than half the price. The Velocity is also very smooth and smudge resistant. In the past I have used mostly Parker, and Papermate Lubriglide pens, however I also own an authentic Mont Blanc ballpoint, and some Lamy ballpoint pens. The Lamy Logo at around $16 seems like a good value for a premium quality pen(I recently bought a second one). The Montblanc pens Imo aren't worth the price. I bought the Parker pens years ago when the pricing was much better.
