The La Crosse Technology Projection Alarm Clock projects the current time on your wall or ceiling. It is loaded with other functions, such as projection direction with automatic focus and intensity settings. Projection alarm features dynamic color display with brightness control settings in a sleek, black case. Manual set time with calendar that will read with alternate views either by Full weekday or Weekday/Month/Date. Included adapter powers this bedside clock which will charge your smartphone or another mobile device (charge cable, not included.) The clock also offers nap timer function and programmable alarm. It also monitors and displays the room’s temperature and the humidity.

Then it progresses to two beeps pause 2 beeps pause, etc. It has a nap alarm that you can set up one time and then it's one button to set after that. The colors look great. Folks that were complaining about not being able to figure it out either didn't look on the back of the clock where the instructions are plainly printed or didn't read the little pamphlet that came with it. This is also the only clock that I've ever owned that the battery backup was worth a rip. We lost power for 10 hours and when the power came back on this clock was spot-on. All the other battery backed up clocks I've owned over the years would gain a lot of time on battery. In fact, during the same 10-hour outage, the other clock I have in my bedroom was 20 or 25 minutes ahead. The only thing I didn't love about it is it slides around rather easily because it is so lightweight. I added two little tiny rubber stick-on feet to the front to fix that. I absolutely would buy this clock again. It's the very best design I've ever owned.

**Q: does the  projection light level adjust and can the screen light level turn off?**
A: You are able to adjust both projection and screen light levels via button. You can turn off.

**Q: Is the time projected in an orientation which is readable while laying down (left to right) looking at the ceiling?**
A: Yes.  It rotates by 90 degree increments so that it can always be read, but depending on the angle of the clock (towards the bed), it might be a wee bit rotated.  Not a problem though.

**Q: Plug into an outlet or battery only?**
A: It comes with an AC adapter. On AC power the projector and display stay on continuously. If operated on battery power only, the projector and main display backlight shut off after a few seconds + the USB charging port disabled

**Q: can your project the date as well, or only the time?**
A: It only projects the time

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Almost perfect, except for the laser...

What I love: - Overall design is great, love the size and shape and display - Brightness of both the display and the laser are adjustable, can get very dim What I don't love: - The laser has a pretty awful halo. My previous laser clock (from another brand) didn't have any halo at all, but this one has a big spotty red circle around the time. Not a fan. - You can't adjust the focus, so the laser is also a little bit blurry If it weren't for that halo this would be a resounding thumbs up for me. come on guys, you can do better than that...
