If you're not using it to play with an Xbox 360 controller on Xbox One, that is.Xbox One compatibility: I tried out different standard controllers, Madcatz 6-button pads, and arcade sticks made for 360 and PS3, and the standard PS4 Dualshock 4 with this converter. The PS3 and PS4 controllers work very well with it, with no noticeable input lag or delay. Meanwhile, the Xbox 360 controllers are a nightmare with it because of the random inputs that just show up whenever they want to. I've found a way to get rid of the random 360 inputs, and that is by plugging another 360 converter into the XCM converter (This is the exact converter I used with the XCM: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0042SB2I0/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) This method not only got rid on those nasty inputs, but it also allowed me to use my PS1 and PS2 controllers to play Xbox One games!PS3 compatibility: No need to activate the converter with a wired PS3 controller, just plug in and go. Using a variety of PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 controllers, I have to say that the converter works easily and seamless with the PS3. No input lag or delay from my personal experience.Xbox 360 compatibility: Same as my experience with the PS3, no input lag using PS3, PS4, and Xbox One controllers with this console.If you have to use a 360 controller on Xbox One with the XCM, I STRONGLY advise you to plug in a standalone 360 converter into the XCM to avoid random inputs that could mess up your gameplay. I've got an Xbox One and Xbox 360. I can use my 360 controller on my Xbox one. I don't have a wired Xbox One controller but it definitely doesn't work on the wireless controller with a charging cord. More than enough wire length for me. I play on a desk so the Turbo switches are easy to access for me. Which is a plus because after using the turbo buttons for 5-10 min. my joy stick controls go crazy. I have to switch off turbo then back on and its fixed. I only use this for Halo 4 on Xbox 360 and Master Chief Collection Xbox One so I can crouch and fix the problem before I die or found. I originally wanted it to work with a Gamestop branded wired Xbox One controller but the darn thing would never recognize that. I have lots of third party 360 controllers, Hori, Razer, Madcatz and it seems like a crapshoot if any of those will work or not.
