The Franklin seat provides more long-term comfort over the course of a long workday than hanging in a harness does. It is intended for use with Singing Rock's fall arrest or work positioning harnesses. It is easy to adjust with Rock and Lock buckles. Wide sitting area ensures good stability and allows for comfortable hanging, as well as standing work positions. Three D-rings (bearing capacity 50kg) for gear suspension.

Review: I actually ended up loving this. - I got this as an option for a rope access job so i didn't have to hang in my harness if the job took me longer than i was expecting. After a few days testing it out in a safe location it has proven to be very comfortable and easy to set up. This should make my upcoming job significantly easier. Build quality looks top notch and the extra ring on each side have come in handy during my training sessions, i feel quite safe and comfortable using it. It has a lot of adjust-ability and fits me quite well.
Review: My Experiance with my New Singing Rock Franklin Hanging Work Seat.(Bosuns Chair) - I like this seat, but, the strap length adjustment clips could be better. When there is no weight on the clips they tend to loosen and the strap gets longer and you have to re-adjust the strap length. I'll have to get it adjusted then use some black electrical tape to keep it in place and from getting loose. Let me say again, when the weight is removed from the strap adjustment clip it can slip. It does not seem to slip when the straps and clips are under a load. Other than the adjustment clip this seems to be a nice hanging seat that I will use a lot! There are not any reviews on this hanging seat so I'm sharing my experience with you. I also noted it's only 2.5kn. So this seat will not handle much of a short drop. It is rated for 650 lbs so it's fairly tough. The entire seat is rigid, like it has a curved steel plate inside. The ENTIRE bottom of the seat is Bright Yellow with the Singing Rock Logo. So anyone under you looking up when your using the seat will see this large bright yellow logo (not shown in any pictures) I'll paint it black with some fabric paint. But there is not many choices for a seat like this in this price range so it will have to do. I'd like to thank desertcart and The Great Outdoors Store for offering this item for a reasonable price. **Q: Is this seat osha / ansi certified?**
A: Good question, I’ll look to see but probably just CE certification since since they’re out of the Czech Republic, but it certainly is a solid piece of equipment I’m well pleased with it. Petzl pays for those ratings,and I’m guessing Singing Rock doesn’t care to

I got this as an option for a rope access job so i didn't have to hang in my harness if the job took me longer than i was expecting.
