I was looking for a book that was laid out horizontally, the days of the week run vertically down the left side and then you have eight large blocks running horizontally for each of the days. This allows plenty of room for me to write anything necessary . I also like the fact that it is spiral bound but still lays open flat. This is my first year homeschooling and I think this planner will definitely be exactly what I need to stay ahead of the game and organized. The table of contents includes helpful ways to use the planner, a weekly schedule, a student roster, seating chart, birthdays, year at a glance, substitute teacher info, substitute teacher report, year round tips for writing success, and of course the daily lesson plans. And in the front is a spot for who the book belongs to and all other relevant info. I hope you find this helpful in deciding whether this planner will work for you. I've uploaded a picture of what the inside pages look like, as this is what I would want to see before purchasing items like this online. All the planning pages look like this 2-page spread. There's a couple of pages in the front of the book that I would never use, like 2 pages for student info, but the rest of the pages are functional. I think it's written more for middle school or elementary teachers, unless you only have one or two preps. There are no other Mary Engelbreit pictures other than the front and back cover (exact same picture). All the inside planning pages look the same except for the "tips" on the right hand pages. The book is a little bigger than 8.5 x 11 in. depending on how many courses I need to plan, I may get it again, but it's limiting for HS teachers planning for more than two preps. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Almost perfect *by P***E on Reviewed in the United States on August 28, 2020* I should have looked at this more carefully.
