Holds it in portrait and landscape modes equally well and is well made. Looks like it will last a long time. The buttons and micro-usb port are still accessible and the speaker holes remain uncovered so the sound quality is not affected. The sim and micro-usb ports are covered by the enclosure but these will hardly ever need access. The tablet is very easy to remove from the case when required. It is available in a large range of colours but I opted for black to match the tablet. The best thing about it are the two grooves that enable the tablet to remain upright as in free standing, all others I have had have been rubbish.
