Horses like the licorice-flavored taste, and even the picky ones eat it. At less than $23 a month, it's much cheaper than a vet bill and healthier for your horse. Features: Recommended for all breeds of horses Totally natural, 95% pure Affordable, healthy, and effective Aids the prevention of sand colic and other types of malabsorption Can be fed by hand on its own or as a top dress on your horse's regular feed ration Item Specifications: Sizes: 5 lb. 10 lb. 20 lb. 50 lb. Guaranteed Analysis: Crude Protein (min.): 10% Crude Fat (min.): 4% Crude Fiber (max.): 7% Ash (max.): 7% Ingredients: Psyllium seed husk (this outer coat has a high content of hermicellulose mucillages that allows for its dramatic absorption of water), wheat mill run, anise oil Directions for Use: A 2 oz. scoop is enclosed. three horses large size helps  wish it were cheaper but that is me all the time  we go through this pretty quickly but it does the job and that is what we wanted

This product is GREAT! I have miniature horses and one would not eat "Sand Clear" at all. He would not even eat the oats (and he loves his oats) if Sand Clear was in with them. He will eat this and it works great to prevent sand colic. I live in the desert and there is way too much sand.
