A fun challenge
Well made, beautiful game. What I love about it, is that its a challenging game for both kids and adults. It works memory with enough strategy to keep everyone's attention.

Delightful game; no child plays by all the rules, but so what!
This game is very attractive, well-made and fun. Because it relies on memory, rather than words, it is suitable for younger children as well as those up to about 9. The smaller ones, and not always just them, will never be able to resist cheating by "miscounting" or just picking up the trees and sneakily looking at them, but it is still fun. The full rules are too complicated for smaller kids, but it is easy to play a streamlined version.

It is my most favorite game in the world
My 5 year old daughter says "Give it five stars! It is my most favorite game in the world!" We got it a few weeks ago and she has played this game at least once a day since getting it. It took her about a week to really get the hang of it and be able to win against grown ups. The game itself is attractive and nice quality, the pawns are made of wood and the cards and board are made of sturdy card stock and nicely illustrated. The game play is mostly strategy based and requires memorization, counting, and watching what other players are doing. I think she finds it appealing because there is strategy involved and because she finds the characters and illustrations engaging; she is familiar with most of the fairy tales referenced and has asked to check out books from the library about the stories she didn't know.

Magical Memory Game
I have loved this game since my grandmother introduced it to me when I was eight-years-old. The board and cards are beautifully printed, and the playing pieces make this an above average, intriguing, enchanted memory game.

Great game!
This was a favorite game of my children growing up and I know the next generation will enjoy playing on this fun updated game board. I love Ravensburger games and puzzlesโฆthey are quality, engaging products well worth the cost.

Memory game that's good for younger kids.
I picked this one up on sale for half the current price. For that amount it's worth it if you have 4-8 year olds in your game playing group or household and they enjoy memory type games. The quality is good and the rules are simple with variants to make things a bit more difficult for older kids. Overall, it's a memory game with rather simplistic movement on a gameboard to make it just a bit more challenging and throw some luck into the mix. It plays on a multiple path board that has no specific direction you must move. I don't particularly care for boards of this type as most games on such boards favor going back and forth over an area until you've picked up the required item(s) and head for home. At least in this one you have to remember where the item is located, but once you've been to half the trees you can usually win easily by camping out on the "guessing" spot. Gameplay is pretty straight forward. Roll your two dice. Move to a new circle (simple rules let you use each die as an independent move). If it's a blue circle, pick up the tree beside it and look at the picture underneath. There's a card turned over on a stack on a specific board location. If you find the item under a tree that matches the picture on the card you make your way to a specific spot and "guess" where the item is. If you're right, you show everyone and take the card. If you're wrong, you replace the tree, without showing anyone the item underneath, and go back to the start space. The first person to get three matches wins. The game's biggest flaw is that the "guessing" spot is away from everything else so as soon as you head for it it's generally assumed that you know where the item is located. That sometimes makes for a scramble as everyone tries to be the first there to guess. You can use the path to get from one side of the board to the other without making a guess so the older kids will sometimes do this just to throw everyone off. Our 6 year old loves it and has since it was purchased, when she was 4. She's better at it now for no other reason than she can count better and understands the movement requirements. She has a good memory and will often win once she's visited about half the trees but she "beats herself up" if she guesses incorrectly or revisits a tree. She's also good at reading her siblings (ages 11 and 14) and "getting" it when they stumble across the tree hiding the item to identify. She'll use this to try and beat them to the guessing spot. Games played with the "easy" rules and movement typically take us no longer than 30 minutes. It's rare we play more than twice in a row as everyone, but the 6 year old, tires of it quickly. That's why it only gets 4 stars.

Fun game!
My kids love this game. Itโs more challenging than something like candy land because it involves memory. I like that one can change up the game a little if they roll doubles and the kids are also learning to use their poker faces so as not to reveal that theyโve found the item everyone is looking for. You can also trick others by not immediately going towards the key spot( where you have to be in order to guess and collect an item)when you find the item bc then others will take notice and knowing where you were just at, figure out where the item is, head towards theโguessing spotโand steal it. If we want the game to go faster or make it easier for our 4 year old we remove the trees that hide items which have been found, so thereโs less to choose from or get confused over. Itโs a fun game, one that I enjoy playing with the kids! Super happy I got this!

Family Fun
The board and pieces are sturdy and well-made. The rules can be understood very quickly, and the game is as fun as it is easy to play. It has good replayability-value since no two game-layouts will be identical. My eight-year-old loves it, and since I love memory games, I love it too.

Muy divertido
Uno de nuestros juegos faboritos. Es facil y cubre bastante rango de edad. Ideal para familias de 5 o 6 para poder jugar todos. Aunque a partir de 3 el juego es muy entretenido

Great Family Memory and (Light) Strategy Game
This is a really fun racing game with memory and light strategy elements for the whole family. It can become quite a competitive race game when 2 adults go head-to-head. The instructions are clear and the rules are straightforward and easy to teach; even to younger children. The components are of good quality and the fairytale artwork of the cards is beautiful and will likely appeal to both younger and older players. Game play is enjoyable and, even though Enchanted Forest is designed for children, it is still fun for adults too.

A classic family game that has stood the test of time
A great board game I remembered from my childhood. My wife and daughter loved the first game and we canโt stop playing. Great for developing counting skills, memory and strategy. Adaptable rules for kids makes this game easy for them to play. Takes about 20 minutes with three of us. A critically acclaimed game (it was Spiel des Jahres in the 1980s) that has stood the test of time. Can not recommend enough.
