Which was biggest concern when I purchased it (that it would not)The buttons work flawlessly as well, they maintain their sensitivity as if the case was not there. The home button is very easily accessible as the case does not impeede the home button for me.I will say that holding the iPad while it is in the case took a little getting used too. I wear a medium sized glove to give you an idea of the size of my hand and the thickness of the case makes me need to twist/tilt the iPad left and right to be type on it. This is a little annoying but i will also say I am happy to do it for the protection the case provides so it is a small sacrifice.The one aspect of the case I was not fond of is the flappy screen cover.
