I have mine for over a year and it does no show any dents . I think it would wipe clean well as long as you didn't really scrub it. It seems to be paper with a coating that has a bit of a spongy feel and it does "dent" easily when I have accidently hit it with a tool or my fingernail. I would not put it up in a high traffic area. **Q: How many Square feet does a roll cover?** A: 51.25 Square Feet ( The description says 369 in. x 20 in.
