Excellent little pressure cooker which is just the right size for a two person family. So far I’ve been able to perfectly cook several root vegetables . I was a bit disappointed that this particular cooker didn’t include a cooking basket but I was able to use the basket from my older Prestige Hi Dome cooker.

An important part of your kitchen cooking
Such an important utensil to have in your kitchen, your incomplete without this. You can make a really a lovely meat curry in just 10 minutes. Your gas electric will drop significantly. I bought this as a gift fir my friends and daughter, I have 3 different sizes at home also. Everything is just made super fast

The age of steam: I like it with 1 niggle
Ok this is the most basic pressure cooker you can get. I was cooking some potatoes and called my boy in as I hit the fast steam release with the flat end of a knife . Whoo Hoo. Potatoes were good. Unsoaked Chick peas were good. Broccoli was good. As some have pointed out this allegedly used to come with a steaming basket. I can confirm it does not but there is what I think is a steaming basket handle in the pack a thin u shaped bit of metal that otherwise serves no use . 3 stars cause a simple steam basket that allows veg to sit above the steam would cost pennies and make this 5 stars

Quality is really good
Although I have an electric pressure cooker, I wanted one that I could use strictly for making curry base gravy, this was great for the job and saved around an hour and a half s cooking time and was a very reasonable price for a good quality pressure cooker
