Review: Buy them. - We've always been a bit of a "foodie" family. That has only increased during this pandemic. We have also always been interested in new recipes, and cooking shows. We saw that "Silpat" baking mats were becoming ubiquitous in a lot of cooking shows... and the more we investigated, the more we were interested. These mats are MUCH lower price (than Silpats and the like). AND you also get two smaller mats (quarter pan) in addition to the two full size mats (half pan). These mats are great for nearly all baking uses, not just macaroons. They prevent bottom of your food burning on the tray. They are EXTREMELY easy to clean up, no matter how messy the food/s you are baking on them. I LOVE how perfect my muffins bake up when I use these. They're great when we roast veggies on them (with balsamic vinegar/oil/salt/pepper). We've used them for a number of months now. We tend to cook at home, even when not in a pandemic. I can now safely say these are good quality mats. I HIGHLY recommend these mats. I cannot imagine the Silpat mats are so much better that they'd be worth the price upgrade. Maybe for a pro chef. We're not pro chefs. These mats are really, REALLY good. Get some.
Review: Silicone mats - I bought these for baking and for regularly roasting vegetables such as potatoes in the oven. They work great and are very easy to clean. They are easy to store as well. I've used them with the oven at 425 degrees feirenheight and they worked great, good heat resistance. For the amount of mats you get it is a great deal for the money. They are quite durable as well. I love that they have the circles for making macrons as well it'll make it easier to pipe them out. These had a slight smell to them but after washing them the smell went away.

**Q: Can these be cut down to fit a smaller pan?**
A: NO! Do not cut silicone baking mats as they have a fiberglass filler and cutting them exposed the fiberglass and creates a potential for contaminating good with fiberglass.

**Q: The heavy duty half sheet pans i bought are 12x16. Why do most silicone mats that say they are for half sheet pans measure 16 1/2 inches instead of 16**
A: My standard half sheet pans measure 13x18 outer edge to outer edge....on the bottom inside they measure 16-1/2 x 12-1/2 and these mats fit perfectly.

**Q: Question to seller: it doesn't say anywhere that they are food-grade. "Best" grade is not a grade. Thanks**
A: Due to your question I researched what the difference is between food grade and non food grade silica. I found a few test recommendations to determine the difference and these mats passed all of the tests I did for being food grade silica. Hope that helps.

**Q: Can you cook bacon in the oven on this?   Do you use paper towel?**
A: We only use them for baking cookies. I would check with the people who manufacture the product to see if you can cook bacon on the pad

MY ⭐️RATINGS: 5⭐️- EXCEEDS MY EXPECTATIONS! TOP QUALITY & MUST HAVE. I have tried making the templates for macarons but never had success. I prefer this type of reusable baking mat where they are already outlined. I’ve been using these sheets for quite some time and have had no problems. I noticed in the reviews that some people commented about their macarons not coming off the mats, and I immediately knew from their pictures that it was not the mats. Their shell batter was not mixed adequately, causing the shells to stick to the mats. So, when you read the reviews, remember that many of the issues are because macaroons are not easy to make. These Reusable Macaron Cookie Sheets are exactly as advertised, well-made, and work well. The PRICE is in the usual range.
