It smells nice and earthy when I opened the bag, and it is on the dryer side of moist, which is nice so I am not just spending money on moisture in the bag. There is a lot of product as its fine and very nicely sifted. There was a small amount of condensation on the sides when I first got my bag but really not a lot compared to others. I only buy smaller amounts because of storage issues in my apartment.
