Spice and Wolf, Vol. 10 - light novel

Well, it is a great set of books that I am enjoying reading, for the Kindle, I think that the price is a little steep or I would read them faster. The characters tend to be consistent with insight into how to trade and bargain, how money is 'created' and why it needs intrinsic value. Sad to see Lawrence getting dumber over time. Of course next to Holo, the wise wolf, I suppose that is to be expected

This is an interesting story involving sheep, a wolf, and a merchant association vying for land. The protagonist leads his party on a quest for the mythic bones. I liked the ending… funny. Cant wait to see what happens next!

Some of you may have noticed that in the previous few installations of Spice and Wolf, the chapters got a little dreary. The words got a little wordy, and the magical feeling may have felt to be diminishing. That is not apparent in Volume 10. This part of the Spice and Wolf story replenished your interest in the series and how the relationship of Kraft Lawrence and Holo of Yoitsu will turn out. The tender feeling between the two is back, the hard thinking of an economic crisis is once again apparent. What seemed to be missing in the previous volumes is focus devoted to Kraft and Holo. This volume definitely brings that back tenfold!

I like the story of this series.

While this book still has the same problem of not letting you easily know who's talking at what time, this is easily the best volume up to it. All of the plans are relatively easy to follow and even the plot twist are sensible enough to not seem far fetched. With the sole exception of the dialogue, the story is easy to follow and has a great pace.

I assume if you are looking at this item you have already read the previous titles. If that is not the case, then look for the 1st book in the series and purchase that. This is the 10th Spice and Wolf book to be translated into English. The series is highly enjoyable and I have purchased all those currently available and plan to purchase all the future books.

Very good read. Great addition to the series and just an all around well written piece. Very highly recomended if you are a fan if this series.

I'm a big fan of Spice and Wolf, and this volume made no exception. Although Lawrence's biggest concerns continue to shift from money to Holo, economics are still very much present, along with fellow merchants, fruitful (or not) deals, and so on. I don't speak Japanese, but the translation itself seems to be of very good quality, and the author's writing still as good as ever! I wouldn't want to spoil anything, so I'll keep it short, but it is nice to see how both Lawrence and Holo manage to talk about their relatonship while constantly avoiding the subject and still taking care of Col.

Jetzt schneit's auch mal. Aber abgesehen von der Jahreszeit im neuen Ort, lernen Lawrence, Holo & Col eine interessante Person kennen. Mit deren Hilfe als auch Bitte, sie sich einer Wahrheit mit neuen Enthüllungen bewusst machen.

Cosa posso dire? Da fan della serie, è un must have! Peccato che in Italia non arriverà mai in italiano. L'edizione inglese della YenPress è perfetta. Consiglio l'acquisto a tutti gli amanti della serie.

It's a Spice and Wolf book. What's not to love!
