Both the goal and the ball were defective. I contacted the seller the day the package was opened but heard nothing for 72 hours. Recognizing that some organizations have unresponsive customer service, I filed a claim with desertcart.com and - remarkably - received a response from the seller the following morning citing their 48-hour return policy and they were not willing to send out a replacement set or issue partial refund. Very disheartening response from a seller - especially when I had explained in my correspondence that I was not even home within 48 hours of delivery in order to open the package and inspect the item! So little effort made from their customer service department for such a simple request. Obviously, the seller doesn't stand behind the quality of the items they sell - and the effortless response from the seller was simply beyond ridiculous. It is too bad that "oh well" has become all too common from online sellers these days who try to win business by selling cheaper merchandise. desertcart.com generally has high standards for their sellers and I would not be surprised if this seller was removed in the intermediate future.
