Interesting but a bit inconsistent
This is a good read and I'm sure my nieces liked it. The first half is successful in establishing the storyline and gripping the mystery. The second half gets a lot of details and story plots, so can get confusing. All in all it is a good one time read.

A wonderful way of teaching children about the history of those times . These are a series - each one is excellent. Only wish they had some with male protagonists as well - would help acceptance of the boooks by the boys !

Not a favorite
The writing style is shoddy and confusing. The book doesn't seem to be suitable for ages 9+ as there are gory descriptions of violence.

Worst book!
One of the worst books that I have ever read. The plot is so confusing and there is no proper continuity to the story. My daughter read the first two chapters and said it an extremely boring book. The Tamil to English translation is incorrect and shows how shoddy the writing is. Looks like no effort or thoughts were put into writing this book. Such a waste of money.

An exciting adventure with a mystery as Raji 'brave, bright and bold' solves a crime. Brilliant story for 9 years plus. My Australian granddaughter loves it.! Definitely worth buying.
