The Bic DURA-TEC 7ft Egg surfboard package in a fresh new design! The benefits of buying a surfboard package instead of the board alone are numerous. Firstly, as soon as you receive your package you can fit your fins, attach the leash, wax up the board, slip it in the bag and head to the beach! Secondly its much cheaper to buy the package than it would be to purchase the individual items separately. Last but arguably most important, is that we will ensure that your padded boardbag and the leash are suitable for the board you are buying and that the wax is correct for the current water temperature. The bag needs to be wide enough and long enough to accommodate the board with the fins fitted and needs to offer adequate protection for your brand new surfboard. We'll also ensure that the leash is the correct length and strong enough for your particular board. The latest board to be added to the Bic DURA-TEC Surfboards series is the 7ft Egg, an uncompromisingly modern and user-friendly shape, featuring a nice wide nose and tail making the board paddle and catch waves easily. The Egg surfboard has very little rocker (this means the board is pretty flat) which makes it nice and stable, paddle fast, catches the wave early and planes over flat sections. It's THE perfect board for 60 to 80kg surfers wanting to learn and progress easily, with lots of fun right from the start. But the EGG is also a great option for more experienced surfers looking to ride all kinds of waves, with total confidence. The Egg is a tried and tested shape, it's elliptical outline is very forgiving letting the rider change direction smoothly and quickly without becoming unstable. There are 3 basic requirements to making learning to surf a pleasure not a hardship! 1) An affordable board 2) A suitable size and shape board 3) A surfboard that is durable and not easily damaged
