All one piece. I find them to be a good deal more cost effective than buying the handle and expensive replacement heads. But maybe that’s because I don’t have a really heavy beard. Used, then rinsed properly and using an old toothbrush to clean between the blades, I can get 20 to 25 shaves with just one. Not everyone can, I’m sure, but they are a good razor for the price. Use it 15-20 times and throw it away. Start again. Two packages of 24 will take me almost through a whole year. **Q: My skin is not sensitive. still ok?** A: True statement. **Q: Does this razor pivot, or is the head fixed?** A: It has a pivoting head. **Q: It states 3 blades and 5 blades. Which is it?** A: They are three blades, on titling head and skin protection strips. Great razors, lasts several shaves at an great value. I've used these literally for decades.
