Creative Woodburner Wire Tip Wood Burning Tool

I have been searching for a wood burner to embellish the boxes I build for our store. I purchased a very inexpensive one on Amazon and it failed miserably. The seller offered me a full refund with no return needed. This was the second one I purchased and it is everything I need. It is so easy to use and unlike the cheap ones does not get too hot to handle while using it. Yes, the tip does cool quickly, but so did the cheap one. I like the fact that it does cool, it slows me down and that means a much better image with good control over the lines I burn. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone wanting to do some quality wood burning.

I was bummed that I had to return the exact same first one I purchased because it didn't heat. BUT, I am so happy I returned and reordered instead of giving up and purchasing something from a different vendor. I love love love my wood burner! I made so many Christmas presents with this - check out the intricate detail on the pizza peel that hubby made and I burned with my new Walnut Hollow burning pen! The door to the bee hive is a knothole - this burning pen glides easily over pine and curves around as if it were melting butter! Thank you AMAZON for an easy first return and a final product that is so fun to use!

This is the first burner I bought in my new hobby of pyrography. I had borrowed burners from a couple of friends to get a feel for what I was looking for before I made a purchase. I had watched a Youtube review of this burner and wanted to give it a try. I am impressed with the ease of set up, the temperature retention for the tips, and how quickly it cools down once you turn the unit off. Changing tips is extremely easy and I like how you don't change just the nibs or have to use a screwdriver or other tool. Lastly, I love how close you are to the wood while burning. This is much more like using a pen and writing than any of the other units I tried. I would highly recommend for a new user.

I am an absolute beginner and even I can see that the possibilities with this are endless. Very comfortable to hold. Heats really nicely and attains temps that really work. Like any other heating element the temp fluctuates a bit and it will start to not burn as easily or darkly with continuous use. Just pause for 10 seconds or so and it will again attain the heat you need. (The pause is the only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5). The tips are super simple to use and are designed so that only the part you want to touch the wood does. Very smart design. Other brands have tips that allow the shaft to touch and burn spots you don’t want to be burned unless you are much more skilled than I am.

For first time venturing into wood-burning, this is a great product. Easy to use and worked reliably well (even when I used it on oak wood which is pretty hard to burn, but it was the only wood I had available). Will definitely keep using it.

Pros: - What I like the most it’s not feeling that my hand is on fire though it is hotter than craft burner but you won’t be needing gloves to keep your hands from the crazy heat. - Compact size - Prong tips (I love that they heat and cool down so quickly) -Great customer service as well. Cons: - The only cons I can give is that the heat retention goes down, so if you are burning for a while you will notice that the heat does go down even if you have it up to 10.

This was the first machine I bought when I started pyrography- if I were only using it a couple times a week it would probably be fine but I use it everyday and it is completely irritating. First of all, the temperature is highly inconsistent. It doesn't get hot enough in the first place and it cools down quickly, sometimes high (10, what temperature is ten? we may never know) burns craters in my work, other times, it barely makes an impression. To top it off, I have broken about a tip every two weeks since I got it. I realize I am pressing too hard, but with the temperature issues, its inevitable. The tip I like best I can't get at my local craft store and I can't buy on Amazon outside a multipack with tips I dislike and never use. The only place to get a replacement is through Walnut Hollow and their shipping is absurd. Once I wear through the tips I have this machine is going on a shelf and I am getting a real one.

I love this burner! Very affordable and it works great. I bought a few more tips that came separately but it is definitely worth it. And I shopped around for pricing and amazon had a way better price than Michaels and other craft stores. I use it almost daily. The only issue I have with it is that sometimes it cools down on the highest setting just for a few seconds but immediately goes back to high heat. If you are wanting a really good burner but can’t afford to drop $300 on one this one is it.

ich bin komplett enttäuscht. Zum zweiten mal muss ich das Brenngerät zurückschicken. So wie es aussieht ist es nicht für Europädische Länder ausgestattet . Ich habe die Heiztemperatur nur auf Stufe 1 gestellt und hat es geglüht wie verrückt. Und nach einer Weile ist es komlett ausgegangen
