You're supposed to be able to but no directions came with this printer. When I purchased it they said you could send faxes. I find you can't enlarge sizes. HP, after hours on the phone, wouldn't tell me anything about anything. I've had it for one year, and it hasn't let me down, yet. I got it hooked to my desktop computer, now. I don't even remove it from where it is. When I need to use it, I just turn it on, & voila! Everything at my finger tips! It prints, scans, and copies very, very well. I take care of my personal business with it. I also get news on sales of HP products. This all-in-one printer is just wonderful! I payed only 30 some odd dollars for it, and it works very, very well. I would reccommend anyone to buy this printer if they cannot afford an expensive printer. This is a good printer to start with. This is the first printer I've owned on my own since I started having computers! Wild, right? I know. But, give this thing a try.
