I bought this because of how engaged I have become with the steel mace. Many might assume this book is a guide for the steel mace and expect step-by-step instructions and or cues--if that is what you are searching for, the viking ninja website or esik's instagram account has tons to offer in this area. But don't assume that this book won't teach you about the mace. For me, it offers more; an enhanced mindset, precise focus, and a deeper appreciation for the mace. My love for the mace was already quite strong but this book has shifted my perspective to engage much more in body weight training. Personally this is a perfect book to start right when the world starts going through the major setback(s) of covid-19.
